STITCHES Memoir of a Trauma Surgeon

STITCHES Memoir of a Trauma Surgeon is the debut memoir of author and trauma surgeon, Dr. Tracy Evans. Tracy came to Salt and Light Web Design wanting a website for her debut memoir. She had requested a website that is professional, sleek, clean, easy to navigate, and focuses on her book. In addition to the website, we worked with her to design two logos; one for her website and one for her self-publishing business, blogging, social media management, and a hardcover book cover design. 

The website includes e-commerce abilities, allowing customers to purchase their copies of the memoir directly through the website with ease. Due to a busy career, this client has us manage her blogs and social media on an as-needed basis. Her blog focuses on travel content, while her social media drives traffic to the website and increases book sales.

The two logos we designed are both simple, but eye-catching, allowing focus to be drawn to the book cover. The book cover was designed for a hardback book jacket, including two page inserts. This cover will be used once the author publishes the hardback version of the book.
